why do mom's have to be so fucking annoying? i know she loves me, and cares for me a lot (i'm an only child), but she won't let me do anything! she's a total worry freak! she won't let me stay home alone because there's a tropical storm! arg! she won't let me go in the water because of the "rip currents" when there's a green flag! that's not even the worst of it!

just let me have my own life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well, got to go to the beach today after all! hooray. the water was beautiful...air wasn't though. dad took me after he finished working (a plus of having a dad that works at home). didn't get to go with my friends, but at least i made it there, right? i'll have plenty of beach time with friends tomorrow (beach "partay"!).

well, this beach "partay" (i'm calling it a "partay" because jackie insists on doing so) is tomorrow, and i guess i've been waiting for it all week. i don't know why. actually, yes i do... it's because everyone else has been hyping it up, so it seems like it's gonna be a big extravaganza! it will be fun, but a doubt it will be considered by any means an extravaganza.

also, while we're still on the subject, i take back what i said about the hott guys being there, cause i guess the "mikes" are the only guys coming and i don't know if they would be considered "hott" by today's standards.

well, hannah says "they do have nice bodies and are nice to look at. also, mike t. has the most gorgeous hair, " so i guess i don't take back the hott guy thing after all. TUCHE'!

it's a beautiful day out... why am i feeling so down? i guess it's because i really want to go surfing, but i'm traped inside. it could also be because i'm not doing what i promised myself i would do. i should really just do it, because the worst thing that could happen would to be denied. oh well.

boredom has taken me again. no one's on. i'm waiting for a certain person to sign on, but i doubt they will, considering this person hasn't done so in over a week... i think.
